Bridge for Beginners Group

At the moment this class is aimed at beginners and players who have not played for some years and wish to renew their skills. The class is very informal and discussion of bidding and playing is encouraged. It is not competitive and we do not score

We meet from 10.00am to 12.00am on Thursday mornings and at the moment the venue is a group member's house so there is no charge. For details of the venue contact the group leader.

We have now been going for over 2 years meeting every Thursday morning for 2 hours bridge. There is some teaching but mostly it is learning through playing. We also have a good social side. We have had 2 barbecues, lunches out and for the first time this week , we had a social bridge evening with supper. See photo. We are lucky to have a lovely venue at George Croston's home . We pay a pound for each time we attend which covers all our social events. We have also bought our own bridge equipment. New members, including beginners, are very welcome.
