The purpose of this group is to facilitate and organise holidays and travel opportunities for our members.

This works in two ways –

1. The bringing together of like minded people to arrange their own holidays so that if someone has an idea of a holiday they want to go on, and seeks one or more companions to go with, they ask for details to be circulated around the group. 
   That person will then be the contact point for anyone else who would like to go.
   It will be up to that group of people to do their own research and make their own bookings.
   These holidays will not be official U3A holidays but a group of friends going away together.
   
   
2. An organised trip for members to book into such as the 4 night coach trip to Northumberland taking place later this year.

General meetings – these are for members to socialise and share holiday ideas and experiences - 6pm at The Owl, Hambleton – normally every 2 months but the next one will be August 9^th 2012.

We are open to ideas from the membership and invite anyone with special knowledge, experience or contacts in the holiday business to join us.
