for some reports on past walks
Do you like plenty of fresh air, exercise and good company?
Then come and join our Walking Group.
We meet fortnightly on different days of the week so that all members have the chance to participate.
We fix a schedule of walks for three months ahead, varying the distance from about three to seven miles. Towards the end of the schedule we meet together after a walk to plan the schedule for the following three months. This will be displayed at the monthly meeting.
It is anticipated that eventually some members will want to do a few longer walks, perhaps involving a full day out.
We welcome new members and especially anyone who is able to lead a walk. You do not have to be a qualified walk leader but you do have to know the walk well.
All walkers are responsible for their own safety on the walks but we are all covered by the U3A for public liability.

Meet at Eversley ready to leave at 9:30 OR at THE FOX, Thorpe Willoughby, Ready to start, 10.00am, the SELBY HORSESHOE. Take snack/picnic/drink.elby Horseshoe. (Approx 9 miles).
WEDNESDAY 15th FEBUARY 2012
Meet at EVERSLEY ready to leave at 9:30 OR STILLINGFLEET. Ready to start, 10.00am, parking details later. This walk is in two sections with a break for coffee at Judi and Ian’s house in between. (Approx 6 - 7 miles).
MONDAY 27th FEBRUARY 2012
Meet at Eversley to leave at 9:30 OR at WOMERSLEY. Ready to start, 10.00am parking details later. (Approx 7 miles).
FRIDAY 16th MARCH 2012
Meet at Eversley ready to leave at 9:30 OR at HAREWOOD. Ready to start, 10.15am parking and other details later. (Approx 6. miles).
TUESDAY 27th MARCH 2012
Meet at Eversley to leave at 9:15 OR at FOLLIFOOT for FOLLIFOOT and the CRIMBLE WAY. Ready to start, 10.00am parking details later (Approx 6.5 miles)..
THURSDAY 12th APRIL 2012
Meet at Eversley ready to leave at 9:20 OR at SPOFFORTH for a SPOFFORTH CIRCULAR via SICKLINGHALL walk. Park in the lay-by opposite the Castle or in the wide main road. (Approx 5 miles).
WEDNESDAY 25th APRIL 2012
Meet at Eversley to leave at 9:00 OR ready to start, 10.00am at the Visitor Centre car park at the top of SUTTON BANK. Wearing BOOTS advisable. Walking poles would be useful if you have them. Take a picnic (Approx 5 miles plus possible 3 miles)..
